Hosiana is the beautiful young child of the chief of the village of Sucuro. The chief has around 60 children but Hosiana stands out as very bright and is clearly the chief’s pride and joy. She is currently in what would be considered as 4th grade in the US. She is rapidly learning English, is an excellent student and promises to make her father proud. She is a bit shy and not sure of what she wants to be when she grows up. Instead, she says she loves school, wants to stay there forever and might want to be a teacher when she has completed school. We would be delighted if she continues to want to teach as there is such a dramatic need for educated teachers in Tanzania. She is sponsored through December of 2017 by member of another non-profit but will need a sponsor beginning in January of 2018.
