Any amount that you invest in the lives of the people of Tanzania will help us dig a large well in the Simanjiro and grow substantial amounts of human capital. And yes, it is tax-deductible too!
As a “thank you” for every gift of a $125.00 or more, we will send you your choice of a photo print from our latest trip to Tanzania. Taken by producer and photographer Jeff Gardner, any one of these beautiful prints would look great in your home or office. Click here for your choice of prints and ordering instructions.
On behalf of the Maasai of Tanzania we thank you so much!
What has APV been up to? See for yourself!
We spent a good part of December in Tanzania, East Africa, with noted media guy Jeff Gardner. Jeff is an award-winning producer and an up and coming photographer, and for almost three weeks Jeff traveled with us around the Simanjiro region of Tanzania, recording and photographing the Maasai and their beautiful country.
To see some of these images, click here. Jeff is also donating prints of his work to APV to help us raise funds for the Maasai in the Simanjiro. To order a pirnt and support APV, click here.

We are challenging students from across the country to provide clean water for the children of Africa – watch how they rise to the challenge!
Africa’s Promise Village is inviting students from across the country to help dig a water well for the children of the Simanjiro. Starting in 2012, individual students and their organizations at all grade levels will be invited to work with APV to raise the $65,000.00 need for this project.
Here’s how its works:
Every school that participates in this project will have a stone with its name on it laid at the well site.
Every school that raises over $2,500.00 will get ten cool t-shirts with the “I Dig Clean Water” logo on it (as pictured above).
AND, we have reserved three places on our next trip to Africa for students whose school raise $6,000.00 or more. Africa’s Promise Village will pay for three students to travel to Africa, one from each of the schools that raise the most amount of money over $6,000.00, during our next trip. For each of the tree winniners Africa’s Promise Village will provided airfair, transporation, lodging, most meals and the adventure of a lifetime. Click here for more details, and may the best schools win!

The Promise Village School is ready to be built. Now all it needs is, well… you!
It may seem incredible to those of us in the United States, but most children in the Simanjiro have little to no access to education, and school buildings are few and far between. That is why APV is committed to building a school for the children of the Sinajiro. The land (some 40 achers) has already been donated, and the school itself will be loacted near the mission run by Father Peter Pinto, a priest with the Divine Word Missionaries. APV will begin work on the school as soon as we have completed the clean water well, likely in early 2013. In the meantime, click here to read all about our clean water project or click here if you are a school competeing in our “Dig Clean Water” project.

Want to change the world? Might we suggest that you start with Doris.
Right now in Tanzania there is a child waiting for someone like you to change her life and world.
You can be that agent for change for much less than you might think. Click here to find out more about the children of Tanzania and how you can change a life by providing food, clothing and school for a child like Doris Jumainne.
